Very interesting thread. I would enjoy chatting with you sometime on a live chat if you find that agreeable.

I will agree that education is a waste of my time and it is something I absolutely despise doing. Unfortunately, I concede to my grandparents highly regarded belief in higher education and yearn to get my degree not as an establishment that I may be "intelligent or knowledgeable" but to please them and as a way of saying thanks for the years of hard work they put into me. After I am done with this hell they call college, I will truly begin work and figuring out life for myself.

Default Important Media Case Study

There are those that say media is all about what sells .
They say they love a salacious scandal as it sells copy , like politicians, sportspeople or celebrities misbehaving .
Often the more salacious and the bigger the profile of the person , the bigger the story , the greater the sales/profits .
True ?

If so , then why wont the msm touch the larry sinclair story with a bargepole ?

Is it because they have proved beyond question that larry sinclair is just a publicity seeking nutter ? (hasn't stopped them before !)
If so why not a story in that ?
I have heard larry speak online in radio interviews and he sounds very credible to me . He has written a book , and is regularly appearing in courts of law over his claims .
None of this is news worthy ??

Extraordinary isn't it ?

Could it be they don't want to embarrass the president ?
Didn't stop them with bill clinton .
Is it because this sheds far too much light on the class of criminal puppets that pose to represent us , so their media lackeys are told not to touch this story ?
Is this the sword of Damocles or asset control mechanism used to control puppet obama ?

This is a highly revealing and illustrative case for reality analysts .

Sinclair repeated his claims at the National Press Club on June 18, 2008. Asked whether he was receiving money from anyone connected with the Republican Party, Sinclair said, "I am not connected with any party... nor are any parties contributing to the cost or the expense of this." Afterward, Sinclair—who was wanted in Colorado on theft and forgery charges—was presented with an arrest warrant by Washington DC police, handcuffed and taken into custody, according to reports.

Default A Beautiful Gift from the BBC

A Beautiful Gift from the BBC :: www.uruknet.info :: informazione dal medio oriente :: information from middle east :: [vs-5]

If you Haven’t Seen It, Check out the BBC Panorama’s "Death in the Med" program (watch video below) and You’ll be Treated to First Class Propaganda as Only the BBC Can Deliver

I am one of the passengers/witnesses interviewed for this program and I am very much aware of BBC’s role in justifying war and covering up Israeli crimes. I am in no way naive about this; to the contrary my motivation for the interview lay largely in the all too likely opportunity to expose the BBC.

A relevant job considering the BBC’s role in the slaughter of over one million Iraqi’s, a direct role by virtue of the war they justified. BBC from start to present, justifying Iraq, a massive war crime and crime against humanity based entirely on lies (propagated intensely by the BBC). The British Broadcasting Corporation, synonymous with millions of orphans and refugees and countless lives destroyed in Iraq, beating the drums of war without pause, the ultimate prostitutes of propaganda.

RT at least tries to broaden the scope in its news reporting into areas largely ignored by our msm .

Default Why Can't The Msm Say " Obl Was Cia" ?

Corporate Media Dismisses Castro’s Bin Laden Claim As Far-Fetched Conspiracy Theory

Despite the fact that Bin Laden was a CIA asset from the very beginning

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
Saturday, August 28, 2010

The corporate media wasted little time in seizing upon controversial Cuban leader Fidel Castro’s comments about Osama bin Laden being a U.S. spy to deride the claim as a far-fetched conspiracy theory, and yet the fact that Bin Laden was once a CIA protégé and has been used time and again to the benefit of the U.S. government’s geopolitical agenda is a documented fact.

It sounds like Fidel Castro has been reading Prison Planet.com, but the Guardian claims that the notorious revolutionary has “gone too far” in claiming Osama Bin Laden is a U.S. double agent.

The Cuban leader cites Wikileaks for his contention that Osama bin Laden is a CIA asset, but he went further in pointing out the fact that Bin Laden was routinely used by the Bush administration as a convenient boogeyman.

“Bush never lacked for Bin Laden’s support. He was a subordinate,” Castro said, according to the Communist party daily, Granma. “Any time Bush would stir up fear and make a big speech, Bin Laden would appear, threatening people with a story about what he was going to do.”

Indeed, this was a phenomenon that we documented for years, writing numerous different articles pointing out that whenever Bush was in political trouble, Bin Laden or one of his Al-Qaeda commanders would pop up at the most opportune moment to give Bush cover and allow him to grandstand as a trusted leader in the war on terror.

The most infamous example of this occurred just days before the 2004 presidential election, when Bin Laden appeared in a dubious video tape and attacked Bush, implicitly siding with his opponent John Kerry. Bin Laden’s chastisement of Bush resulted in a 6 point swing, enabling Bush to seal a second term in office. Both Bush and Kerry attributed the result to the intervention of the Bin Laden tape. Veteran newscaster Walter Cronkiteeven went as far as to charge that the whole thing smacked of a set-up orchestrated by Karl Rove.

“I thought it was going to help,” Bush told Bill Sammon, Senior White House Correspondent for the Washington Examiner. “I thought it would help remind people that if bin Laden doesn’t want Bush to be the president, something must be right with Bush.”

But it wasn’t just before the election that Bush enlisted the help of Bin Laden to boost his political capital. Before every single state of the union speech, either Bin Laden or his right-hand man Al-Zawahiri would pop up and publicly slam Bush, after which Bush would then cite their comments in his speech as a reason for why Americans need to continue to support their commander in chief.

Furthermore, the organization that released the Bin Laden and Al-Zawahiri tapes, IntelCenter, is nothing more than a Pentagon-run front group for the Central Intelligence Agency, as we exhaustively documented in a series of reports spanning many years.

IntelCenter was caught adding its logo to a tape at the same time as Al-Qaeda’s so-called media arm As-Sahab added its logo, proving the two organizations were one and the same.

Pointing out that Bin Laden was used as a political tool by the Bush administration, as Castro commented, is to state the blindingly obvious – the only thing that could be judged as “far-fetched,” as the media characterizes it, would be to deny this patent fact.

Castro’s contention that Bin Laden is a U.S. spy or a CIA stooge is also backed by a mountain of evidence.

Of course, it’s an undisputed fact that the Central Intelligence Agency trained and funded Bin Laden and the rest of the Mujahideen to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan from 1979 onwards.

Distinguished former FBI agent Ted Gunderson revealed that Bin Laden had visited Sherman Oaks, California in 1986 under his CIA code name Tim Osman as part of Bin Laden’s role in helping the U.S. government fight a proxy war with the Soviets.

According to several reports, first arising out of a leak from the French secret service, Bin Laden met with two CIA agents at the American Hospital in Dubai in July 2001, just two months before the September 11 attacks. Despite the fact that Bin Laden was already on the FBI’s most wanted list for his alleged role in the Tanzania and Kenya embassy bombings, the CIA agents didn’t apprehend him and indeed later boasted to their colleagues about the privilege of being able to speak with the terror leader.

Indeed, just last year former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds revealed that the U.S. maintained ‘intimate relations’ with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, “all the way until that day of September 11.”

The Bin Ladens and the Bush family enjoyed a decades-long close business relationship via the Carlyle Group and other oil, banking and construction ventures. Salem bin Laden invested $50,000 dollars in George W. Bush’s first business, Arbusto Energy, through his investment broker James Bath. The business connection of the two families was so tight that on the very morning of 9/11, George H.W. Bush was meeting with Osama bin Laden’s brother, Shafig bin Laden, in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington DC during a Carlyle Group function.

When all air traffic was grounded in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, the whole family of Osama Bin Laden, the supposed prime suspect behind the attacks, was flown out of the United States under special U.S. government protection in total secrecy.

Given this documented history, Castro is merely invoking common sense when he dismisses Bin Laden as a U.S. asset. No matter how the corporate media try to spin the claim as the rantings of an ageing Communist leader, every possible indication clearly points to the fact that Bin Laden has been working for the Agency from the very beginning.

Default Vile Pathetic Murdoch Media

Bill O’Reilly uses Ground Zero ‘mosque’ controversy as front for attack on 9/11 Truth

Andrew Steele
America 20xy
Sept 14, 2010

Last week various activists successfully managed to generate publicity for 9/11 truth:

*Richard Gage of AE 911 Truth and former Senator Mike Gravel held a press conference in Washington DC presenting evidence that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were destroyed by controlled demolition. Along with that, local press conferences were also held by people throughout the world, presenting the same evidence. Mainstream media covered the story and wrote of AE 9/11 Truth’s findings without the usual spin, bringing the issue of Building 7 to the forefront.

*On 9/11/10 Richard Gage, 9/11 victim family member Manny Badillo, and others shined a third beam of light into the sky over New York City in a symbolic representation of Building 7 to accompany the traditional two beams that shine every year for the Twin Towers.

*We Are Change held successful protests in New York City around the anniversary of 9/11, as it does every year, along with various speaking events. One of them featured anti-war hero Cindy Sheehan, who said that she now thinks the 9/11 attacks were an inside job.

Nine years after the attacks, having suffered the plunder of their wealth by Wall Street, seeing the wars continue under Obama, and recognizing more clearly the endless stream of disinfo and lies that their government and mainstream media are feeding them, more and more Americans are slowly begining to look at 9/11 and the improbable collapse of the 3 buildings in New York with a more critical eye.

9/11 Truthers aren’t the only ones who recognize this.

Enter Bill O’Reilly.

Using the drummed up issue of the Ground Zero cultural center as the backdrop, O’Reilly dedicated most of his show on Monday to a transparent and desperate attack on the 9/11 Truth movement by “exposing” that Feisal Abdul Rauf– the Imam behind the cultural center– has connections to Faiz Khan– a Muslim who has publicly stated that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job. Though disguised as a new twist to the tired ‘mosque’ controversy, the true aim of O’Reilly’s attack is to isolate those who question the official story of 9/11 by sending out the message that any connection with 9/11 Truthers is not only undesirable, but potentially criminal. In O’Reilly’s attack piece there was no discussion of the issues raised by the 9/11 Truth movement, only how much Rauf will distance himself from his Truther associate.

In the clip below Bill opens with a hysterical introduction of the issue, demanding that Rauf explain himself and why he didn’t make his association to Khan public. Bill interviews Roy Locker, who is the managing editor for The Investigative Project on Terrorism– a data-gathering center on Islamist groups. Locker describes Khan’s past speaking engagements in a cautious and somber tone, as if they equated to participating in brutal massacres instead of exercises of free speech. Towards the end of the interview O’Reilly and Locker imply that Rauf’s association with Khan now opens the door to the possibility that the Ground Zero cultural center will become a haven for terrorist activities, thus associating 9/11 Truth itself with terrorism.

This message carries into the next segment in a panel discussion with Mary Catherine Ham and Juan Williams. During the discussion Ham claims that Khan’s statements regarding the government’s role in 9/11 somehow amounts to excusing terrorist violence, (without actually clarifying how that is so). She also proclaims, “public figures are required to distance themselves from 9/11 Truthers because that is the decent and right thing to do.”

In the following video Bill O’Reilly and Brit Hume discuss the political ramifications of the new Rauf and Khan angle. Sounding like a B movie cop telling a teenage rebel to “get a haircut, young man,” Hume says, ”Truthers are in bad odor in America,” and then goes on to tell Americans precisely what they feel when they listen to people who know that 9/11 was an inside job.

Though O’Reilly is leading the charge, if the issue takes off no doubt Obama will maintain the script of condemning 9/11 Truth as a vile, hateful cause. The mainstream media’s hope is that if both presented sides of the hyped issue show disdain for 9/11 Truthers, a weak-minded American public will too, and 9/11 Truth will fade into the shadows out of fear of public scorn.

It’s an old strategy that still fails to work. As the mainstream media’s power gets weaker and the alternative media gets stronger, people are beginning to see the propaganda-laden cable news networks as annoying relics of the last decade, reaching out in a dying grasp for America’s heart and soul. While sometimes useful for gauging which direction the fake establishment right wants to steer the public in, Fox News has very little credibility left. The slogan “fair and balanced” being associated with it has become as infamous as the statements “War is Peace” and “Slavery is Freedom” in George Orwell’s 1984.

As is often the case, mainstream media attacks on the 9/11 Truth movement help the cause by bringing the subject to the public’s attention, prompting individuals to research the issue for themselves.
