I don't think black has a mate. We prolly lose a pawn but at lest we can start thinking about building pressure on the queen side.

I vote Ka1, letting ...Ba3 happen will leave the dark squares too weak when we reply b3. For example, g4 ba3 b3 qc5 qd2 bb4 qc1 nd6

Umm, the queen is on e2, so I'm guessing you mean Nd2.
