Before Vatican 2 Catholics were not allowed to eat meat on Friday, still not allowed to on Good Friday I believe. Well lo and behold, those Catholics would go to mass and communion on Friday, esp Good Friday, and what do they do there - they eat the body and blood of Christ - that is meat on Friday.

Posts: 119 I have watched his show at 4AM on channel 10 many times, and there are many cures thanks to his crusades, and many conversions. My sister went to his Crusade in Melbourne a few years ago and loved it.

I was involved in the choir for one in Biloela about 10 years ago by a lesser known crusader whom I can't remember the name of now , but it was still very successful as many people came forward to accept the Lord as their saviour.

I read a book on Billy Graham only a couple of months ago. There are a surprising number of these Christian Crusaders who do great work for God, and Benny Hinn is the best known these days just as Billy Graham was for many years. They are doing God's work as in Matthew 28:16-20.

My only concern for Benny and some other well known crusaders is how good their clothes are. Benny wears better suits than Eddie Maguire ; I think smart casual would be great. (Matthew 6:25-34) So they could spend a tenth of the money they do on clothes. BTW that passage was the introduction for a christian radio program I loved as a kid in Melbourne on Sunday nights from 9 - 12 PM, again I forget the name of the presenter now.

But their entourage is huge, and their hosts in each city wouldn't want them to stay anywhere but the best hotels, and they need their own transport. It all comes to a surprising amount of money, but it is all worth it many times over for the people who have been cured and saved etc.

I also know a few individual missionaries to Africa or even remote aboriginal communities in Australia to be teachers who survive on next to nothing, and I have the utmost respect for them.
