Default Roebuck Dies at 55 - RIP

Roebuck dies aged 55 - Yahoo!7 Sport
PEter Roebuck has died after having trouble with cops. If I remember correctly years ago he got into trouble for touching little boys or something like that. Wondered if he committed suicide?

Odd similarity to Bob Woolmer . Both died 3 days after a "shocking" performance.
In Woolmer's case it was the Pakistan loss to Ireland .

Either Roebuck's death is related in some way to his behaviour re his earlier conviction or it is connected to ....... betting scams !?

...or he's just another victim of the cricket condition - Silence of the heart: cricket suicides - David Frith - Google Books

Default Peter Roebuck

According to Jim Maxwell close friend of Roebuck , said " he was fine after
first test and there was nothing out of ordinary to suggest anything else ".

What tragedy for cricket and sports writers in general .I like his style of
commenting on the game ,he had he's own charisma about him and flow of words .
Fantastic on radio ! , he'll be sadly missed .

well the latest news is that he was being interviewed for sexual assult of a 26 year old male, maybe to do with his cricket academy for poor folk. And it was suicide, so my instinct in post one was correct.

But he was alone with one cop only when he had to get the window open (took 5 secs) and jumped. Wondered if cop tried to stop him or even pushed him out??? where is Ax the conspiracy specialist?

if he had bowled a maiden over instead no one would have minded - also sex and out would have been okay

I warn people about rear-ending - how can they give consent whilst their back is turned, it should be made illegal anyway due to health risks that are virtually guaranteed

Peter Roebuck was doing tons of excellent charity work in Africa, education, lodgings etc for years and now it may all collapse. He may be intestate with his mum getting his small fortune.

Never trust a man who is too busy to have a wife, but not too busy to keep secrets
