Default Man disappears walking his dog

Well not like magic..

Apparently a man in Healesville, north-east of Melbourne went missing while walking his dog. He was reported missing at 8PM by his partner. I'm guessing his dog might of ran into the woods or something and he chased after it. And in this he might have fell and went unconscious.

Or, some malicious person harmed this man (which I hope is not the case).

And this story is important because ... it sells papers to frightened people who seek stories to make them selves even more frightened.

Stop reading the inconsequential trivia in the media.

I agree that events like this are not scarce and often appear in the news. However, it's still good to be aware of them as if similar events start occurring frequently they could all be tied together and a "simple" murder could result to be actually something larger.

Let the police do that one. This is what we pay them to do and they like doing it. I feel safe because the evidence is, that I am safe.

Maybe his own dog attacked him and bit him somewhere tender, then ran off. Due to the extensive blood loss from the dog bite injury, this poor chap tried staggering somewhere public in the hope that someone would see him and render aid. Unfortunately, at that stage, he probably fell into the hole Chessic mentioned and never awoke again.

No need for the Melb police to investigate this one. Here at OzChess, we seem to have worked it all out!
