Don't forget the growth hormones and I am sure the beaks will be made optional in the future. I hear the average life expectancy (sic) is 8 weeks.

What's the life expectancy of a normal chicken that hasn't been breed for food?

they are not chickens they are chooks - like you used to be married to before she got wiser.

But many years I am sure, maybe 8 years I can't remember. UNtil they cant run fast enuf so the fox catches them or they die in winter or hot summers.

I am an excellent shot with an axe if you want any beheaded.

It might not be just psychological but at this point also physiological where her body is so used to the nuggets that it actually expects/even needs them. Not sure if that is true, but I think it is possible.

I am pretty sure it is true. MSG is added to fast food and that is habit forming (aka - addictive).

Sugar is also addictive, but few people realize it. In an experiment, rats were given cocaine and sugar and became addicted to both. When faced with a choice, either the cocaine or the sugar the rats choose the sugar - meaning that sugar may actually be more addictive than cocaine!

Woman claims Maccas link in her becoming a prostitute

Enlarge photo

An American woman is suing McDonald's, claiming the burger chain's low wages and poor worker support and management of its franchisees combined to force her into at job at a brothel.

And in another twist, the woman is also suing her former husband, the franchise owner of the store where she worked.

In a claim filed in the Los Angeles federal court, Shelley Lynn says Keith Handley employed her but that she was wrongfully sacked.

Ms Lynn claims in the action that Handley forced her into prostitution at a brothel on the California-Nevada border.

She says that she would not have been fired and then forced into prostiution if McDonald's had a better grievance system, vetted its franchisees more carefully and treated its workers better.

She claims McDonald's poor overall management allowed Mr Handley to operate a prostitution service from his franchise.

The Courthouse News Service reported that Ms Lynn also said her situation was exacerbated by McDonalds' low wages, anti-union stance, poor health insurance and lack of an affirmative action program to encourage women employees to buy franchises.

Ms Lynn married Mr Handley after she started working as a prostitute but they later divorced.
The Daily News reports that the claim also alleges sex trafficking, negligent supervision and racketeering, among other violations of federal law, and seeks lost wages, compensatory damages
