Default A Brave New World

Well, its been a few months since Howard left the Lodge. Apart from $1 billion being wasted giving every little kid a computer in every public school in the country, has anything really changed in terms of substance? I don't think so, but then again I try not to pay too mcuh attention.

I think a fair deal has changed.

The only substantial problem with the last government was that they became too arrogant, and when that happens its good for the public to let them know they can be tossed out. Preferably the best way to do this is to serve up a few cabinet ministers so that the government take take stock of the situation and make changes accordingly.

The last government also fell foul of public opinion too often, especially with work choices. This is probably where the biggest changes on public policy will ultimate occur.
