In 1976 I went on Friends of Earth bicycle ride protest from Sydney to Canberra. We camped on grounds in front of old parliament house. Coz I was (and still am) Lebanese they decided to send me to lead the delegation to complain against Israel's nuke weapons.

Well they took me to a security room near the entrance and did a full body search even pushing a metal detector up my arsehole - the bastards they are. They did not do this to the kinki di Aussies.

No wonder I have got it in for them. They told us a whole lot of bullshit anyway about not having weapons.

Now getting back to Brissie club, what was the fallout over?
