I hope it knocks a few of the bludgers I know off the pension, esp the illict drug-effected ones - put them into hard labour will straighten them out

Did you bother to read the whole article ?

Garvin should be fine as anyone already on the pension should be okay.

You might be in trouble though, simply being too fat is no longer an adequate reason to receive benefits.

The profile of a typical DSP recipient is changing from those with musculoskeletal conditions (currently 33 per cent of the total) to those with mental illnesses.

In 2001, less than 23 per cent of disability support pensioners had a psychological or psychiatric condition; now it is 29 per cent and growing.

well it appears they are going in my direction of people who abused drugs maybe even years ago just marched onto a pension for years and even included heavily subsidised housing. And yet they are strong as an ox and even perfectly physically fit.
