Wink Fed Election Predictions

Its election day in Canada. Personally I am hoping an orange tide sweeps parliament to remind the main parties that they can't be so arrogant.

My predictions for the 308 seats are as follows:

Conservatives 137
Liberals 63
New Democrats 74
Bloc Quebecois 32
Independent 2

So another minority government in Canada. Surprisingly, everyone thought as long as the Bloc held their usual 50 seats in Quebec, minorities were inevitable. Now their vote has collapsed, and it still looks like minorities are inevitable. Will be interesting to see how things unfold.

Well, a blood bath for the Liberals dropping about 42 seats and Bloc losing about 48 threw my forecast way off. The Leader of the Opposition losing his own seat is hilarious. The leader of the separatist party losing his seat is even more hilarious! Only stain in the result is the Greens finally winning a seat in Canada.

Looks like the final results will be close to this:

Conservatives 164
Liberals 35
New Democrats 105
Bloc Quebecois 3
Independent 0
Greens 1
