I can remember when there were no illicit (almost none) drugs and all Aussie was a lot saner. They came with the Viet war - along with a lot of returned servicemen visiting prostitutes coz that is what they got used to. They still do it, I have noticed that among the Anglo guys who visit working girls it is 100% ex-servicemen.
