I had the opportunity today to drop in briefly to the official Victorian Interschools. Final.
This a teams event run by the Chess Victoria Inter-school Coordinator, and was well attended by most of the strongest schools in the State. In fact, when I looked at the boards 1 and 2 of most teams I was struck by the clear evidence that this competition had a better representation of the highest ranked players in the State than the forthcoming Victorian Championships.
