Default Hello From Melbourne

Hi Guys.

I have an issue playing chess on my phone - so much so that it is starting to get annoying. The phone cheats! and any help I can get for beating my dad will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Yes welcome!
A good way to win is to get into a completely lost position then distract your opponent and swap sides

Hi AzzX

Yes, for some reason most of our members are Victorians. I would almost go so far as to say that 'Ozchess - Australia's Chess Forum' is really 'VicChess - Victoria's Chess Forum' because the rest of the country seems to be lagging behind Victoria in terms of chess action!

I know, kind of scary isn't it? Did you know that Box Hill claims to be the biggest chess club in Australia

Hmm, not since MCC have had their campaign to increase membership.

MCC is now probably back to their historical lead position.

Thanks to Firegoat7's tireless work and devotion to building the game up. Hopefully those slouches in the other place take notice.

Great job Dave!
