Default Roger here!

Hi everyone. My name is Roger and I am a PhD student. Only have a passing interest in chess but thought to myself why not register here and see if I learn something.

I am also new here ,sorry to hijack someon else's thread to annouce that. It was actually a post of your Cephus that led me here because I thought it was extremely interesting but I also play the occasional game of chess and observed the olympic chess games. I was amazed there wasn't any news coverage about that on the news in Sydney - at least I didn't see any.
