Hey,
I'm 17 years old, and am looking to get a little more serious about my chess play. I've played on and off for a few years now, mainly online and at my school. I'm really looking for a club at the moment, hopefully intending to join MCC if they'll have me as that's the closest one to my house, the rest are quite far.

Looking forward to being here.

P.S. Any details on clubs in Melbourne or tournaments is greatly appreciated

I used to play a lot on zone.com, but they completely ruined the chess lobby system there, so I've been shuffling between 7 week trials at ICC (lol), pogo, infinia and various other small chess sites.

It's usually between infinia and pogo that I'm play at.

Went from zone.com, until it shut down, to Inifinia, pogo and a 7 week trial at the ICC. There are some various other small sites that I play on that are none too impressive ^_o

I've had many ICC handles

Mainly because I couldn't get anyone to pay for my membership via credit card lol.

Just added my recent game with Nexus.

Still, I miss too many simple things. If I can't pick up the simple trades, how can I see what's going to be played 3-4 moves down the line.
