I think much of it is repeating moves, especially the opener, and when a trade comes up they might just automatically take the trade so they dont have to think about it much more. I think if you moved a peice out of play where it wasnt supposed to go they would still easily notice.

Looks like the guy on the left one, if not from time, he was certainly toast after a few more moves he would have been done in.

Yeah but when your at the level that I think these guys are at they are still thinking a few moves ahead it's not actually all reflex moves.
