I have recived an e-mail from the leader of the SCTLF (Siberian Chess Tiger Liberation Front) and it informs me that the kings have been taken hostage at the Australian juniour chess champs! They are demanding a ransom which reads "Remove the gag on Ax if you want to see the kings again!"

This is the funniest thing I have read on a forum in ages! Did they ever find or free the hostages though?

Well I haven't recieved any more messages from the SCTLF just yet. But It looks like Ax will never be returning there anyway now so I'm assuimng the kings haven't been returned.

I can't believe someone would take the Axiom stuff so seriously that they would steal chess kings over it. I don't think that helps Axiom look good even though, presumably, he has nothing at all to do with this.
