Default Antique Chess Set & 'Chess made easy'

Hey Guys,

I came upon a war time chess set, non dated with a tiny copy of
"Chess made Easy" by Purdy & Koshnitsky, inside the box.

It looks to be the second or so edition of the book, possibly 1942-1949.

The chess set is a small travel set, made of wood with plastic pieces set in little holes.

Does anyone know if this is worth anything at all??

Cheers,

I can put you in touch with someone who could inspect the set and give you a valuation on it. Do you live in Sydney?
