Kids don't need chess in my opinion, they need sports. That is why there is such a child obesity problem in Australia today, because too many kids are doing inactive gaming including chess. Kids are designed to be active, to run and stuff, so soccer and sport is what they need at that age instead of chess playing. Chess is for older people, starting in their twenties at the earliest.
