I have scanned all BHCC Autumn Cup results and noted that ratings were basically a super-predictor for games involving any two of the candidates for the 2009 Vic Junior title. So, no update to our 'book' for that set of results. A similar exercise through the 8 rounds (played) at the Noble Park Championship revealed one performance that saw the outsider get up. The locally allocated rating was a best guess by the Arbiter. <Our local practice to end guesses with a 1401>. I thought the hint about un-rated in the original post may have been an alert.
