RIP John Purdy
Justice John Purdy passed away suddenly yesterday.

John Purdy was Australian Champion in 1955 & 1963 and was also Australian Junior Champion in 1951.

My condolences to his family & friends.

I remember he played Zhong Yao Zhao a few years ago in an anniverary match, the two Aust champs about 50 years apart - Zhao won ofcourse
