We are currently updating all of the systems at the MCC. The main one which we have just finished (if you could say that it is ever finished) is a new mailing list. If you would like your name added to our mailing list, please send me (via a pm) your name, address, phone number and email address and I will add you to the list.
Grant Szuveges, MCC President

Hi all
Apparently there was a player called Steve who played at MCC who died approx 10 years ago. We are trying to work out who this could be. If anyone knows who it might be, please tell us... Grant (on behalf of various MCC members)

Last night the MCC had its annual AGM. It was a fairly standard affair without anything controversial coming up. The big news however is that 3 people have now been given MCC life membership:
GM David Smerdon GM Zhong Yuan Zhao FM Bobby Cheng David and Zhong Yean were given life membership for attaining the GM title and Bobby for winning the World Under 12 Championship. The other news is that the committee has changed slightly with Carl Gorka, Pano Skiotis and Bob Krstic all stepping down after 2 years of service to MCC. Id like to thank all of them for their enormous contributions over the past 2 years. The new committe is as follows: President: Grant Szuveges Vice President: Elizabeth Warren Treasurer: Andrew Saint Secretary: John Beckman Registrar: Simon Dale Committee Member: Alex Kaplan Committee Member: Jesse Jager Committee Member: Paul Cavezza We are looking forward to a big year this year at MCC.

I'm just sticking up for Mr Teichmann because I think he is being painted into a corner unfairly.

The fact Grant said he would kick Teichmann out of the MCC if he disciplined a junior again.
