Well, it seems that TCG's blog is now fully under the thumb of ACF brass. Arosar hangs out at the swamp rubbing shoulders with his ACF mates at least once a week.

So unfortunately, the independent nature his blog had for the first few years (which made his blog quite good) is no longer apparent.

This game won the brilliancy prize at the recent Doeberl tournament. Thanks to Shaun Press for bringing it to my attention via his blog.

This game was recently posted on Shaun Press' Chessexpress blog! The winner (GM Aronian) is rumoured to be dating an Australian citizen. Its one of those wierd games where you don't quite understand what the heck is going on, or why white forcibly loses the exchange, but the final position is understandably enough.
