Ironically it looks as though the en passant rule is going to work quite against one player here, I won't say who

Cheers Carl, a good game marked by a few moments I guess-

my dodgy Nd8 move gave you an advantage which you exploited well. In this Bc5 version the knight rarely moves to the typical a5 square in the Lopez. Something has to be done after a4 to renew the threat on the e4 pawn but the correct move was probably 12. b4 which is often played when the pressure gets too much in the Worall.

19. Qxc6 perhaps misses a tactical shot for white.
(I missed this entire sequence during the game- just found a lucky defence with Qc6 which keeps the e-pawn)

The early end game is interesting, as I can use the threat of exchanging knights to play for the draw to improve my position.

Let me know if you'd like another! Though you look quite busy at the moment

Cheers,
Paul

I am busy, but that doesn't mean I can't play a game or 2 of chess. If you want another then I'm fine with that, and if you want to play 2 at the same time, 1 black, 1 white, I'm good with that also
