Antisense refuses to clarify the truth.

Result we presume the worst and Antisense gets banned.

At any moment when Antisense speaks up and takes responsibility for their account on Ozchess we will reverse the decision.
That is going to be rather difficult with their account banned.

Correct. As a mod there I support the chesschat policy of holding the admins/mods here responsible with regards this place allowing defamatory posts to remain.

Its only banned for 7 days. If they don't speak up soon it will be banned permanently.

Of course you are entiltled to your opinion. However in my opinion there is no defamation here and unless you prove it then it pretty much doesn't exist just based on heresay from amateurs.

But its good for Ozchess anyway that Chesschat has resorted to banning people like Moz and myself. So keep up the good work!

cheers ,

People tend to get irate when their account gets banned.

yes he has already began whingeing on the other chess forum
However I could see his lack of motivation to cooperate as he may be a tad annoyed. But he's a big boy he can get over it and move on

What you observe is allowable by AO (the ADMIN of Ozchess).
The alternate approach is documented in rule 117 and confirmed by rule 135, at chesschat.

And I have no problem your posts on chesschat.

But KB's post on chesschat (which you described) would appear inconsistent with the spirit of the two rules I quoted.

So, there is no issue for you answer.

Have a nice evening,
MOZ

In fact PPWPFL
I will seek permission from KB to post the completion of his sentence (which begins "Any public criticism of chesschat moderation... " in a PM of 08-06-2008, 12:10 AM
that will further your understanding.

My use of the word rule has been objected to.
So much for economy of expression.
The thread title was Moderation Rules and Decisions.
Rather than truncate for economy to Rules, possibly I should have abbreviated the para. to
"The alternate approach is documented in ruling 117 and confirmed by ruling 135, at chesschat"

hi GM
And I don't think your lack of knowledge will in any way give you regret.

Just skip it.
