"Trash?" Personally, I think the trash should stay, it is flushed away with a few more posts. Only exception would be for the worst of the worst personal attacks, which is not btw mere abuse.

I think Watto changed her name to Platypus or vice versa once. That's the only one that comes to mind.

If shoutbox or other privileges are available immediately upon registration, there is is additional space available for them to draw attention to themselves. I don't have a problem with whatever decision you guys choose to make. Its your board! |

I think we should be more proactive in solving these problems before they present themselves. I will see what Matt has to say about it, but I kind of like the 5 post minimum requirement, as a security feature and a privilege to reward members. AO

Shout by Little Black Cat
Firstly, I already did an IP search on you showing your IP address to be Melbourne based. Billy Bot lives in Sydney, or around Sydney. Secondly, Billy Bot has too much to post on OzChess, although he does like the new features like private shouts, You Tube tags (which were used here before CC), and the new Flag feature.Incidentally, your shout did not work because you used a : when you should have used a ; ![]() Regards AO

Good news everyone.
The Internet Chess Club has reciprocated and linked OzChess in their Chess links. As ICC is a well established and highly respectable chess playing site with considerable traffic, the link exchange between us will certainly have flow on effects in terms of SEO and possibly new members. I think everyone here deserves a big pat on the back, as OzChess wouldn't be what it is today without its loyal and valuable members. ![]() AO ps - My handle on ICC is Kings-Gambit if anyone is up for a game.
