On the contrary, he is very articulate, quite wise on a variety of topics, and having spent several hours with him in person recently having a chat about a variety of topics I know that he is quite the opposite of small-minded.

Hi Frosty,
Yes, my first impression of him was also favourable. Who wouldn't have sympathy for a parent with a child in that state. As time goes on, however, his true colours are revealed. In my view Howard has some very serious issues he needs to work through. I have, in light of the spectre of trash-flame wars that this subject can open up, decided to withdraw my posts dealing with him and to cease further discussion about him. He simply brings out the worst in me, and others, and I want nothing more to do with the man. Regards AO

All manner of excellent qualities can be insufficient to compensate for some kinds of flaws.

I don't take part in that decision making process but I believe a thread has been started on chesschat by Spiny which addresses with the aim to clarify this. |

Yes it is exclusive. That was the intention from the beginning and the reason for the post count requirement. With access comes the responsibility to respect the privacy of others and those who don't or who are unable to manage this responsibility need to be managed. Some repeat offenders are banned. |
