[Today 10:05 PM] Axiom: mostly 0-0 but there are times when 0-0-0 is playable , when blk plays very passively
[Today 10:04 PM] Axiom: if blck tries h5->h4 , never exchange ,push past ,keep blocked
[Today 10:03 PM] Axiom: then with f4 ,g4 ,Ng3 sometimes and squash the kside
[Today 10:03 PM] Axiom: yes h3 often needed
[Today 10:02 PM] PPWPFL: lol I just played H3 move 12
[Today 10:02 PM] Axiom: also play h3 , to stop Bg4 or Ng4
[Today 10:01 PM] Axiom: so if c5 then Nd2->f3 if no c5 , then Be3
[Today 10:00 PM] PPWPFL: okay I take those notes and I shall play another. hopefully as white
[Today 10:00 PM] PPWPFL: ahh of course b3 or not B3
[Today 09:59 PM] Axiom: thats why B is often needed on e3 rather than on b2 where it is often blocked in by blck's d5->d4
[Today 09:58 PM] Axiom: but you were doing fine till allowing d3 sq. to his N , and exposing the possum weakness of the g1-a7 diagonal
[Today 09:57 PM] Axiom: i said not b3 !!

the opening was pretty good .
but not Bg5 but rather Nd2 .
If Bg5 ,retreat back to c1 , and maybe use h6 as a can opener in attack.
by retreating back to d2 it blocked the N to that sq.
Also don't allow Bg4

This may be one of the most ridiculous openings I've ever played! I should've just stuck with the possum.

You were losing for a while. I don't know why he kept on playing in such a hopeless position.

I returned from my secret camp training yesterday and decided to play a bit of chess. Here's a win over a 1650 in 20 moves!

Yeah nice game, though if on move twenty if he took your rook you would have been losing.

I like the queen sac!

White Looks Better

I am not sure about that Laurence. If

20. Nxb6 cxb6
21. Qxc6+ Ke7
22. Qd6+ Qxd6
23. cxd6+ Kxd6

then the position still may be salvagable for black with his 2 bishops, but I agree that white does look better here.

Thanks for that . I only just noticed that I had some comments on the game! Yeah I quite enjoyed that game. It may have been losing but I didn't analyse any of it I just thought it looked good to get my queen and rook forked and should work

Thanks, Jaydon
