On the plus side, as far as I can tell, this seems to be the only game that is missing and I did get to see it before I disappeared. I don't suppose you still have the pgn and could put it back up again?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best Regards,

AO

Please disregard the above Post. The game now seems to be displaying nicely :Guess What:

Yes, I like white's attack in that game but don't agree with all of the annotation.

Black was sure lucky to escape alive from that horrible opening!

The game is notable in that white should have easily won but gave up the ghost too many times!

Hi Guys this is Queenstown round 1, very bad game by me. Note great(??!) last move by me!

It was the last game to finish as it had gone on for more than 5:30 with both of us sub-5.00. I managed to play my prepared opening but fxe5 was a big positional mistake, even fritz8 notices that. Here is the game:

Hi LM,

I think that 33.Qd2 with the idea of Bd5 was a much better to way precede in the position. The Bishop on f3 was a lame duck! Your piece activity more then compensated for being a pawn down. Once your Bishop is on d5, the black knight is completely dominated.

cheers,

Don't be too hard on yourself, those Queen vs Queen endgames can become very dicey. Usually having an extra pawn in those kind of positions means very little if the Queen can continually harrass your opponent's King.

The annotations are broken, all they say is 'poor move'??? Why can't I get the annotations to work?

Hi, sorry I missed this comment. you have to select the variation from the list that pops up when you select the move before.

Here is yet another blunderous game against Bobby. This time it was another draw.

I didn't think move 26 was that bad, however, instead of Nh5 for move 40 I would have played Qg2 in an attempt to get the knight to f5.

If this is the level of play that 1900 and 2000 players do than I am on my way to 2100 at least!

40.Nh5 was what he missed because of Qc6, after which I should have been winning

Trust me, to play a game with absolutely no mistakes is very rare, even for a GM
