Attacking And Counter Attacking

I took a risk with that pawn he had on b2, but I got through it. Opinions?

Not bad! But I need to see a few more games to be really impressed!

It'll be interesting to see what your rating comes out at after it's finsihed being "provisional". I think you might be a little bit better then me, I'll verse you some time.

Any comments on my moves? I thought I was going to be ok in allowing that pawn to get to the second rank, and apparently I was right, but did we both miss something?

Unfortunately I played my best game when I was 14, I beat Derek Yu (rated 1838) and we didn't take the moves because it was a school competition :\

Hopefully I'll get some good games in at MCC or on FICS for you to take a look at ^_^

I look forward to it. Let me get settled in at MCC first, and get a nice rating ^_^
However, I doubt that I'm better than you. Until about 2 weeks ago I hadn't played chess since the end of last year.

Unfortunately I played by best game when I was 14 (beat some 15 year old that finished 16th in some Japanese tournament decisively) and we didn't take the moves because it was a school competition :\

That was a great game, I loved white's attack and disregard for your opponents threats. Sign me up for more!

I just saw that on move 21 I had Re1+ which would either mate in 2 or win the queen. I prefer the way I played it though, much more flair

Here's another one I played recently. I blundered my rook away and then allowed him to fork my queen and rook >_<

When that happens, what do you choose to keep? Your rook of course!

It was good until you started to give all your pieces away :S

But that was a cool checkmate at the end, good job

I was a little low on time and wanted to make it equal on the clock. Stupid combination of moves screwed me over :\

Ah well ^_^

Here's a game I played with IM Schroer. I think I played well up until 15. ...e5. From there he took advantage of all my weaknesses and weak play :\

I edited the game above Heartbreak Kid, the error was because the pgn tags didn't say what round number the game was, so I put in 1.

I also agree, you were playing okay until 15...e5??

Yeah well the guy was an IM!

But in all my games I've played the dragon as black that h pawn caveman attack still seems to give me problems...

That e5 was the start of a series of blunders. I thought about it, seemed fine at the time. Then the moment I let go of the piece, I saw everything that was wrong with it. Hate that >_<

I think it was too much counter attacking that made me screw my position over lol.
