Default My Endgame Journal

I'm starting to work a little harder on my end games, and converting my middlegames. So I'll be uploading some of my games against Chessmaster (2892).

These first two were played after I found this position to be winning for white. I played it 3 times. The first game I won, the second game I drew, and the third game I won. Here's the two I won.

Thanks Arrogant. Also, can you put them into the one window like you did last time? I don't know how to do it :\

Thumbs up One Window = Multiple Chess Games

Done! I especially liked the game with the alternate lines! Did you use Fritz to generate the pgn files?

Chessmaster - grand master's edition. I'd like to point out that in the one where I allowed him to pass his h pawn, I was playing quickly and just throwing moves around xD

That's the computer program I played against. It's got a high rating and what better program to practise your endgame against?

No point doing endgame training if you don't make it out of the opening with equality, or relative equality anyway.

It's helping me calculate a lot further through the game that I currently am. I'm going to go over a few more openings after a while and then get back to converting middle games.

Beautiful game I just played, in my opinion. My knight was a killer, while his bishop was restricted for most of the game. Even if he hadn't hung his rook, I'm pretty sure only I could win this.

Yeah nice game. Well I played out the game assuming he didn't hang the rook and won it with the white pieces lol

I loved the final position where he resigned, when he realized how helpless and hopless his position was

Even with the rooks it was hopeless, imo.

I liked the way all 40 moves fit so neatly in the move record area without going over

I haven't had many awesome endgames to post up. I guess I can post my game with Peter Fry two weeks ago? All though we didn't push all the way through.
