Default Long Break Away From Tournament Chess

Sorry I missed your post Uki, just got back.

I might not have told you this but I have given up tournament chess, at least for a year or two. I simply wasn't getting the results over the board I wanted, and was getting frustrated because I didn't have the time to put into chess training which one needs to improve their play and their rating. I also saw my rating fall about 300 points as a result of not practising, and while there is no doubt in my mind that I could get back to the level I was at a few years ago, or even much farther, it isn't a priority for me anymore.

As such, I won't be going to this event mate.

Best Regards,

Alex Toolsie
