Newsletter #27 now available on the Box Hill web-site.
See http://www.boxhillchess.org.au/e2010/news/201027.pdf

Some highlights that caught my eye
  • a pic of the Flavid Dude just before 'analysis is necessary till I find a win'.
  • a senior citizen uses 'versing', but is it grammatically kosher?
  • detailed updates on our teams in the VIC TEAMS event
  • the Editor calls our Tuesday event an ordinary Swiss, but it has an extra-ordinary participant by my reckoning, and
  • important details on the Rookies event this coming Sunday, 8th August,

Default new speak rules

I was pleased to be able to turn side line into an adjective and versus into a verb all in one sentence

Newsletter #35 is posted to mailboxes, or can viewed at this web-page.

Some highlights caught my eye.
But I must say it is terrific to have the Editor back on deck and normal transmission resumed.
Where did he go? See the previous issue in the archive at the site and he even has happy snaps.

Newsletter #38 is ready to be posted to mailboxes. However a technical difficulty in the Flavid Dude's computer has hampered distribution just at the moment.
Our many readers are probably itching to catch-up with the latest news, so the weibye-meister has arranged direct viewing of this weeks newsletter at this link..

It is an issue packed full of highlights.
For example, do you know about the Losing Points Lightning? Read newsletter #38 and get informed, as Axiom would say.

Because I have been out to the pictures with my wife.

Now I am back.

Default Must see

I have had an early look at #40 due out very soon. It is top-shelf and while not quite in the class of wikileaks it still will be right up there on the media monitor reports for the week.

Look out for it.
Make sure your spam filter does not block #40, and enjoy the read.
Oh, and yes, my pic is in it.
