It has been a month now and I have not heard anything about a refund. I am still owed my $190 and have not heard a bo peep. Unacceptable.

Trevor had wanted to play in the Resserves tournament as his rating was only 1951, but he was persuaded to enter the Championship and promptly zoomed to 4/4, beating Solomon and Whol along the way. He was halted by Wallace and Gluzman, but fought back to register an IM norm following a 120 move draw in the final round against Naum Kagan....

AC, I understand that you are a troll and that you enjoy your stirring. But lets call a spade a spade, the ACF lost $3,000 on the event. If there is any controversy over the delay of my refund, it has nothing to do with my humility.

As that tourney helps young up and comers to earn their norms in OZ there is some good out of it. Heaps actually. You could donate your $190 to help them out - your up and coming boy may even get the benefit of it one day.

CAlvin, FG shook all heaven and earth to try and get into Aust Champ premier division and not just reserves. Well he failed so instead of being the man and took the Reserve Division he had a sulk and is requesting his fees back. Well those voluntarily associations only meet monthly, esp over New Year even if that, so he is putting the boot in till he gets his fees back.

And K Bonham who is on ACF executive wont take up his case coz he reakons that FG talked violently to him. So there you have it.

Actually, Kevin's reluctance to get involved is because he knows how little sway he actually has over people, and how ineffective he would be if he tried to get involved and do the right thing.

I am not critical of people who lack courage though. If courage were commonplace it would not be such a valuable and laudable quality.
