Default Mildura Open

A new weekender has appeared on the ACF Grand Prix calendar.... is this the first weekender ever in Mildura!

I think this could be a great chance for Melbourne and Adelaide players to get together... it's almost equally close to both cities.

With IA Gary Bekker running this event and a new, energetic club behind it, this is going to be a lot of fun.

Dates: December 3 + 4, 2011

Enter online: Tornelo - Mildura Open

When the were posters designed for the Mildura Open we had not confirmed the venue as of yet. Just letting you know now that it is the Mildura Grand Hotel, 7th Street, Mildura. It has accommodation available, a swimming pool (in case Mildura puts on some good December weather you may just appreciate a dip in between rounds!), is right opposite the bus station if anybody plans to bus to Mildura, opposite a playground and the river, and right amongst all the restaurants and cafes, so hopefully it should be a very conveneint location for everybody!

Kind regards,
Mildura Chess Club
