Default Australian Young Masters

Hi all,

The Australian Young Masters event is to be held in Adelaide at the Chess Centre of SA in early mid December of this year.

Fedja Zulfic is one of the organisers and it promises to be as strong as the same event held in previous years.

Certainly something that SACA was interested in assisting by providing a free venue.

regards to all.
George

I'm sure that Daniel Lapitan (1713 ACF) would be interested to play in this competition.
He will do his best to prepare himself for the Junior World Champinship in Brazil by the end of Novemeber.

hi all,

The tournies entrants are on Chesschat etc etc.

Fedja should have no issues with money as he is awash with sponsorship dollars.

Should be a fantastic tourney!!

If someone knows how to paste from ChessChat the field etc in the 3 tournies could be posted here

Greetings,

It is very disappointing not to see one Victorian name in the junior open event. Would like to have seen at least one of these young guns playing....

James "the Man "Morris
Bobby "Chess Chess Chess" Cheng
Laurence "SCT" Matheson
Frank "HBK" Lekkas
Mike "Guns" Adammo
Justin "Time" Tan
or Ari "Terrier" Dale

Hi Guys,

James did not get an appearance fee at the Checkmate Tournament. All IM's were offered a guarantee against prizemonies and he was offered that.

If he chooses to see that as an "appearance fee" thats up to him - I dont know what he has or hasnt been offered for other tournies.

Yea when I say appearance fee, that's what I mean. Last year it might as well have been an actual appearance fee, I played badly and only got 50%, but still got the 200 bucks lol

What about free food and entertainment, or did these expenses come out of the $200?
