The tournament was notable as first outing for the recently qualified Arbiter, Roger Croft. This tournament counts towards the FIDE qualification.

At BHCC/CJCC, these events are run by unpaid volunteers.


As Bunnings shows by their display, there are rakes, and then again there are RAKES.

I recently have had two rakes knocked off my place - you two guys have not been in Byron recently on way to GC comp and helped yourselves? And were there any forfeits or big words thrown at each other?
