I think the theory is you have to earn the right to be in the Championship.

And, on this one, you should thank the Siren from Sofia.

Default Encourage

Next time i drive past Lexus of Blackburn , i will make a point of dropping in , and ask to speak to the most senior person on duty and thank them for their sponsorship of chess .( unless there is a name of the person more directly responsible, someone is willing to make known here )
Anyone else in the area , could consider doing the same .

And well done to CV !

...

eek

The Sandman has just scaled back the previous orienteering approach to the Championships and here you are suggesting other physical pursuits.

A Championship is a Championship. Not an Open.

There are limits on the hoi polloi and any greeks bearing gifts.

I can give you a VIP pass.

Spoiler for VIP Pass:
Just tell them you're a friend of mine, they will let you right in!

Eligibility
Players will be allocated to the tournaments on the basis of rankings as published by the ACF on September 2009 to complete the total number
in each tournament to 12

I suggest
  1. crank your ACF rating up as much as possible in the next rating release,
  2. examine the threshold that allowed entry into the RESERVES in 2008.

regards, and good luck

Hi,

I simply do not understand why Elwood has 5 playing sessions, Box Hill 3 playing sessions and MCC 2 playing sessions.

cheers,

If this is the case, (and yes it is, I just checked) the distribution should be revised as soon as possible!

May I suggest you hold your horses (let alone your eeks) for a sec? Where did I suggest that I was interested in entering?

Does that exclude the "hoi polloi" of even looking at the entry details? Oh mon dieu! Using Greek terms to exclude gift bearing (or non bearing) Greeks?

hm gone are the days where the gifts of gift bearing Greeks were publicly acknowledged?

Default Availability Schedule no longer operative

The Innovative availability schedule which applied last year has been dropped. Now you play where and when you are told

You posted originally "Oh I see, what's next? Rock climbing or something?".
It just looked like you were thinking how to scale the heights to get over the threshold.
If you are not entering then I guess DHC stocks go up a notch.

The hoi polloi can certainly window-shop.
The Sandman's instructions to me are clear.

The clock is an awkward shape I am told.
