A summary of key details follow

Tournament 1

Under 12, Under 10, Under 8, Boys and Girls
7 rounds
Code:
Saturday 	June 27 	  	
                Round 1: at 10:00
  	  	Round 2: at 12:15
  	  	Round 3: at 14:30

Sunday 	June 28 	  	
                Round 4: at 10:00
                Round 5: at 12:15
  	  	Round 6: at 14:30
  	  	Round 7: at 16:45
Entry fee: $45 less $10 early bird discount if paid by June 19

Rate of play: 40 minutes plus 30 seconds from move one.

The bookies market for the 2009 Victorian Junior U18 title has been tracked in this thread.
Now, closer to the event, it is time to update with progress results in the current BHCC Club Championship.

From round 3
Michael Chan was defeated by Yilun Ding and the winner enters the market just ahead on MC.

From round 4
Our new entrant accounts for Chris Wallis and so swaps position with him on the ladder.

From round 5
Laurence Matheson defeats Yilun Ding and they swap position.

im extremely surprised to be #15 on that list! How am I ahead of Isaac, James, Nicholas and Gene! I didn't play taht well in the holidays....

Week and a half from the Vic Juniors and the numbers are a bit less than half of last year's (U-12 = 67 and U-18 = 29). Hopefully "they" will come in a rush soon.
