Hey guys, What do you think the best chess site to play online against other players? Right now im using yahoo chess, but was wondering if there is anything better out there. Just wondering if some other players had some hidden gems.

Then I'd have to say the best place to play chess on the internet would be ICC (Internet chess club) but ICC requires a membership fee. I'm sure there are other places but I think they would be the best of the free sites (FICS) and the best site (ICC). Hope I helped

Yeah I agree with the simplicity for the interface and I just swapped fro dasher to blitzin on ICC for that reason. But I find babas chess fairly simple to use but I have never used theif so I might like it better..

Great ideas! Yeah the ICC membership fee is a little steep, but I would qualify for the student membership for much less. I bookmarked it to come back to. In the meantime i'll check out FICS. Definitely time for me to move on from yahoo. lol
