At least Bill did not knock my attempt to replace non-attending FIDE-rated players with similarly-rated substitutes. He knows quality when he sees it.

I had a chance to speak with Brian Thomas, CAQ Secretary, about the above motion and what action had been taken to inform Bill Gletsos of the CAQ position. Might I state that while Bill Gletsos may be easily confused on a great many topics, the average chess player would not be easily confused if RD's were to be made public.

An excellent post that has convinced me this is a bigger issue than I thought, and a more troublesome practice than I had thought!

If Bill was sent to that infamous prison in Libya (abu gharib) and tortured he would soon spill the beans re those RDs - if good enuf for Hicks then good enuf for Bill

Bill, you are an imbecile!

No one ever said the CAQ contacted you and asked you for the list of RD's. I do, however, believe you were told either verbally or in writing by Patrick Byrom at one stage that he (Pat) believed the RD's should be made public. The CAQ also supported this stance.

Please try harder to get your facts straight next time.

I am more concerned at getting comps changed back to guillotine finish with analogue clocks than how rated.
Those digital clocks dont help the game at all, only unnecessarily extends it

within a few years of BillG getting out of ACF the Glicko system will be gone, and all Bills altercations about it will have been in vain.

Probably true. But who says that Bill will not serve for another ten to twenty years? You will be old and gray by then. All you will have in those days are your memories about the several unfair bannings Kevin and Bill gave you.

But whether anyone sticks around to listen to these tales is another matter entire.

Will those memories be similar to the glorious memories I possess with the lovely ladies of my life - will I be an useless old sod by then with just memories of what a hunk I was and what certain appendages were used for. I could volunteer sex education lessons for my great grandchildren
