Default League downfalls

I have played in a few leagues, they haven't really been my thing, seem to be a bit unorganized. The thing I didn't like about leagues were the adjustments that you were allowed to make during the season. I don't believe that any adjustments should be allowed to be made what so ever. The issue that I was pressed with was the one where you were allowed to changed over 2 of your players once the season begins. What sense does this make? They claim that you can't make these changes due to strategic purpose but only due to emergencies but who is really going to know what you are doing it for? I think logically, a couple of people in the league I had joined had did this right under my nose (due to so called emergencies.) I think just like any other league you should NOT be able to change about any persons that you have on your team.

I think this is the only thing that turns me off to leagues because personally I like to play in them. I was thinking about actually starting my own league of some kind or at least a seminar which teaches chess in some form or fashion.

That's because of his friendly disposition.
