So Bill, on behalf of yourself and your dancing partner KB, are we in Oceania or Asia region? The arguments have been going to & fro - just wanted to know whom to apply to when I have those GM norms backing up

Correct. I edit a few times a year in a way similar to Hansard - only for obvious slips of spellcheck.

Default Can the ACF please gag these people

Greetings,

Desperate to maintain control over everything, Kevin Bonhams latest public rant adds fuel to the argument that the ACF needs professional media representatives to replace these ill equipped volunteers.

Meanwhile Denis Jessop continues to show that he is incapable of publicly speaking in a way that improves the image of the ACF.

With 2012 arriving, the ACF continues, business as usual ,allowing both resident bullies to destroy its public image for zero gain, zero personal accountability and zero long term benefit.

Wrong! If he chooses to ban you for being a disruptive influence in the OzChess Shoutbox, I am perfectly fine with that!

Alex realises his "elections" have delivered a stupid outcome that further imperils his already hopelessly run forum and is trying not so much to salvage it as to absolve himself of blame for the inevitable disaster in advance.
I don't know what your going on about. The elections have been run in a free and fair manner (again), and I applaud the results. In fact I voted for 2 out of the 3 mods elected. The only reason I didn't vote for Firegoat7 was because I knew if he won, I would have to go to all the hassle of updating the homepage (which is now done, but a bit of work for me nevertheless).

I know Firegoat7 will make a fine mod, as Pablito15 has and would have. I doubt anything would imperil this forum by throwing your cadaver overboard. In fact, it might help us a lot more than hinder us.

We often consult here over tricky decisions about whether to ban someone or not.
Then what the **** are you complaining about?

I have seen Jaydon confer with mods before issuing 24 hour Shoutbox bans in the past. Its good practice, and sensible. So why are you disparaging it?
