Are we Ghosts? Ozchessforum declared as Ghostship by ACF? - OzChess

I read the ACF news letter and saw that many chess sites were advertised but not Ozchessforum.
One of the ACF representatives has declared that OZCHESSFORUM is banned by ACF.

I asked myself why?

So it seems to me that we are Ghosts on the Ghostship, that no one wants to see, even though half
the federations have already read our posts .
So I wonder where that democracy in Australia has gone and why did we grant
them the permission to declare ourselves as living Ghosts.
Untrue stories have been told about us!

We should stand up together and proof that we are mayor informative chess force in Australia.

Now 1 month has passed since this thread has been started.
I did not notice any non-civilised posts and we are still not advertised in the ACF news letter.
I have to say that I have recorded one big uncivilised post at Chesschat.
A chesschat user complained that Ozchessforum members are abusing him on the shoutbox.
Our mod, Pablito intervened and asked to cease the irrelevant discussions at the shoutbox.
And so- the irrelevant discussions ceased.
And now same chesschat user got bored and came over to provoke Alex, FG7 and V. This has been recorded now for the second time.

And that is all what happened.
Can someone from the mods send an email to the ACF news letter publisher to put this forum on the list as an Australian chess forum?
If we don't try, we can't win.
Let's see the answer!
In a couple of years, people who banned writing, announcing and posting Ozchessforum's name will be ashamed of their act.

I don't really care if we are in the newsletter or not because it likely would not translate into any new members. Most people who get the ACF Newsletter steer clear of both chess forums.

But so long as the three marshmellows oppose our web address on their newsletter, without any opposition voices on the ACF council to disagree with them, Matt's letter is likely to fail.

The best chance of OzChess' web address making the newsletter is if Mr Cordover makes a run at the council and finds himself on it. Then the overdue house cleaning on the ACF council can begin in earnest.

Just my two cents.

Incidentally Amir, I thought Ghost Ship was a really cool movie. At the time it had been a while since a good horror flick had come out.

I know how you feel...my websites used to be included until I posted a link to the ACF website without permission. The ACF sprang into action and within a couple of weeks anything and everything to do with me was banned...

The subsequent lifting of the ban once the offending link was removed hasn't been so swift.

I estimated that Ian Route who publishes the ACF news letters, is a decent man and I thought he may put OzChess forum in the news letter, however, even some CC mods don't agree with that.

The main reson is his signature under all of his posts.

I would not discuss politics but this signature appears in every chess post under tournament topics by JONO.
The latest nomination of Kevin Bonham as the
FIDE representaive for Australia forced me to comment on this.

The same Kevin Bonham, who is a moderator at chesschat and ACF representaive who supports JONO signature, here is the proof when one of the chesschat members complained:

Should be chesschat banned from the advertising in the news letters?

I'm writting this only because is not good for Australian chess and could be bad for the International reputation of Australian chess.
