1. Zero tolerance (automatic two week ban or longer) for any of the following:

* any clearcut breach of site rules (including threadjacking and other blatantly off-topic posting)
* any mention (including implied) of religion on any thread outside the Religion and Science section, or any purely science-based thread in that section, without moderator permission
* any even mildly off-topic comment about moderation on a thread that is not about moderation (except for Off-Topic Bin)
* significant trolling of any poster who lacks the power to delete his rubbish for themselves (trolling of mods/admins may also result in banning)
* excessive complaining about moderation decisions (strict limit of three complaints in any seven-day period)
* triumphalism (boasting about imaginary victories in debates)
* breach of any directive issued to him
* excessively inane posting (ie worse than his normal abysmal standard)

2. Complete ban on dragging posts from one forum to the other in either direction, except with prior permission from the mods/admins on this site.

Both 1 and 2 will be reviewed and relaxed if he manages to go three months as an active member without getting himself banned.

Any bans applied to antichrist by me in this time will just be edited into this post.

He also LIFE BANS for relatively trivial offences !!
The guy clearly has dysfunctional issues in the area of people management and sadly is proving to be a complete disaster to forum life .
Is it not he alone the catalyst for splitting the Australian online chess community in two ?

If you LIFE BAN for hydra use , what punishment do you give serious offenses like slander , death threats ,and the like ??
I take it you are familiar with the concept of proportionate and just sentencing .
A years ban long enough for hydra use do you think ?

This is splendid actually because it gives me so much to mention to the ACF as reason why this site should not be banned by the ACF hypocrite until he is cleaned up preferably with both turpentine and NaOH and gone from a position of influence.

But seriously folks, when you read this kind of comment from an executive of the ACF you know that OzChess was always to be banned. There was never any question that egomaniacs run the ACF to the determent of chess in Australia. These risk averse, mat grey, dry rot products should fade away so chess can flourish.

What this site is, is a product of the people who post here. Kevin Bonham is part of the mix acting as the resident troll. Kevy, you are truly an artless piece of work - at once both transparent and ugly. Smash yourself.

(PS. I wield zero special influence on this site. It is democratically run and self sustaining.)

Their fear of OzChess is well justified, as it has the potential to supplant CC as the dominant chess forum in Australia (and it arguably already is for the state of Victoria).
