Is telling the truth about your use of the fake user mod to make your online numbers look better a bannable offence or would you just make up some other trumped up excuse for having me banned.

Would look like to whom Bill? We have already demonstrated time and again that we are a more transparent, open, accountable, and civilized forum than Chess Chat will ever be. And we have more bells and whistles as well.

Exactly. I would argue, however, that the people who visit the forum are also important. When it is esteemed chess statesmen well respected throughout Australian chess circles, ie. Trevor and David Cordover, I think that also speaks volumes. Ask yourself, why do they not visit or post as much on Chess Chat?

OzChess has a lot of different mods Bill, far more than CC - and I suspect the reason for your complaint is because you know this is a good mod, and the owner of CC simply will not allow you to download mods onto CC for fear of screwing up the delicate pgn chess viewer there.

Even with the faking removed the above still does not compare like with like. Our figure online is for those online in the last two hours - theirs is for the last four and a half.

The guest figure includes several spiders and msn bots, and other types of bots. So many non-humans are included in the guest number, that it makes the guests stats on both forums completely meaningless.
