Default Planning for the Future

Greetings,

How is everyone?
The heat is out of the way in Oz and Alex has been rumormungering behind the scenes.
Basically, Ozchess needs to change!
Thats because it needs to move and become something else.
Who knows what the future is for Ozchess.
Does it need a plan?
What do you want it too be?
What are Alex and Matt planning?
Who is Axiom anyway?

I suggest 50 posts gets you a voice on Tribal council!
LOL
cheers Fg7
P.S Geez, I need to work on my English!

Indeed Firegoat7

However we need to keep in mind that a certain ACF Official has 99 posts on OzChess and I'd rather vote him OFF the island :Guess What: instead of inviting him to the party. But you make a good point, hopefully this weekend I will lay out my vision for the future of Oz. Vagrantnomad had an excellent idea that I think can help OzChess grow. Stay Tuned, more to come soon .....

Really? Evolution is not planned and look at what it produced.

(Actually yes I agree, a plan helps avoid failure.)

Greetings,

Ok. So lets think about a plan.

Plan1: Strive for economical independence. a) Document and verify basic costs for Ozchess for the year. Discuss in an open forum how these costs can be met by the site.

cheers,

Costs are currently met by AO and me.

AO, please send a PM to us with list of expenses.
Three catagories:
1. Approx. yearly internet costs (IP, site et cetera)
2. Approx. yearly software costs (licences add-ons)
3. Approx. yearly sundries.

Either we pay or someone else pays.

Of course we really should officially invite all our 50+ members to tribal council, preferably via pm.
With the exception of Gletsos, he is simply not house trained!

cheers,

Tomorrow I will make an effort to establish 'Tribal Council' (a forum for posters with 100 plus posts). This will exclude the anti-contributors, including Bill Gletsos, and allow the members here to have an active say in this forums future.

Actually AO, I don't feel comfortable with rules that exclude a particular individual.
I don't have trouble with the 100 posts by midnight 26/2 as the criterion.

For your re-consideration.

regards
