I don't know, aren't we? I suppose I could have pulled out a different word to keep you entertained, but I was quite fond of 'curious' as it conjures thoughts of Alice in Wonderland, and coming to this forum is like sinking deep down into a rabbit hole.

So, tell me PP, do you find it ironic the post that mr Stanning is moaning about chesschat staff removing some posts it reveals that the ozchess ones have done the same.

Well hopefully next time you'll try harder to keep me entertained and use a different word .

Well I'm afraid that I couldn't tell you how ironic it may or may not be as I would have to kill you. We don't want that now do we!

How does 'fascinating' sit with you, Jaydon?

Would you agree that it is a coincedence?

The Carrier Pigeon already reported the cull of ozchess posts in post #15 in this thread. So, .... old news.

But does come as news that chesschat staff have been removing posts. It was previously thought the chesschat owner did the cull.

OK so the only news here is that Ozchess has followed suit and culled many of my old posts. No doubt you will show yourself to be fair-handed and equally condemn Ozchess too. Shall I hold my breath?

I wouldn't know.

There is a school of thought that even negative publicity is better than no publicity. Do you think this is the case?

haha I'll take that chance Mr Boris.

Well some would agree, some would disagree I would have to sit on the fence so to speak with that matter however.

Fascinatingly enough I tend to agree with your non-commital response. Sometimes I think it is better, sometimes not. But it seems I am not bringing up topics that are of interest to you. How about this:

If you are in a losing position and your opponent sacrifices B+N for rook and allows you to win, is this good play by you?

Well it really does depend Mr Boris. However It may well be good play on your behalf depending on the technique that was displayed to secure the win. Of course depending on the particular position I would have to changemy answer! What about you Mr Boris?

How about this position. In particular after 18.Bxd2 white is simply a piece down for nothing. Then black swaps his 2 active minor pieces for the inactive white rook, and black loses quickly, pretty much by force. Phil Donnelly then said to white "nice game". I find that puzzling.

No problem.
The Admin. here long recognised that he had difficulty with the role of MOD, and delegated to fg7.
If posts have to be retro-culled on Ozchess then that is a failure of moderation at the time of posting.

That two threads are culled now by the owner of chesschat is similar.

Well sure that was not very well executed by black at all however white did do well enough to find the forced mate and I assume it may have been simply a natural courteous response from Phil. A bit like asking "how are you" when usually people don't really care. A chess player may respond with "good game", "nice win" etc. Just to be nice. Perhaps that shone some light on this puzzle for you Mr Boris?

Not a failure of then, but a failure of now. Where is the decision to remove the posts recorded? Why was that decision taken, what was wrong with the posts? IIRC you and Matt were both Mods at that time.

Would be similar if it were transperant here as it is on chesschat. That is clearly not the case.

I would still like to know how you knew my name Mr Boris!! I'm here if you'd like to tell me.

How was your day today Mr Boris? I can say that mine was rather enjoyable and that I am, in fact, quite pleased with how my day went.
