Of course this is yet another incorrect claim by firegoat about CC policy - most claims he makes about CC policy or site rules are false. CC does expect that people quoting copyright material will acknowledge their source, and furthermore that they will do so in a way that doesn't breach copyright. CC also expects that posters will attribute quotes of material posted on this board to the correct authors (this rule exists to stop posters from persistently baiting each other with "Originally Posted by Drippy Idiot" and so on).

But when it comes to quoting stuff posted on other forums that is not copyright there is no specific rule. And in this case firegoat's claim is false anyway since AC did clearly indicate who the quote was by and, in his own way, where it was from ("one from firegoat from dark side of moon"). The only thing AC did wrong was stuff up the quoting (as usual) such that it was hard to tell which parts of the post were firegoat's and which parts were mowcop's.

AC, I deleted that rubbish of firegoat's that you brought across from the other place since most of it was just his usual dumb abuse and you were clearly doing so just to try to exacerbate fights.

If you must try to give his rubbish an airing on this board then just stick to the bits that actually try to make a coherent point related to the issue (good luck finding them) and don't copy and paste the rest of his dross. If you keep dragging abuse over the lights will go out for you from another section of the board.
