We tend to anthropomorphise our own pain responses, eg that something that is in pain is expected to complain, to twitch or lash around, to avoid the cause of the pain, and so on. I hope I am not getting Axiom's disease but I am feeling paranoid - whenever I see this thread's title I think of the USSR's KGB
Kevin Bonham Gletsos who dessimated everyone in Russia for decades - I hope Bill & Kev's rule does not last that long - have I been deported to Siberia? with all the talk of tigers here I must have been. I don't doubte KB would deport his grannie if when old and lost her marbles a bit she kept posting to wrong threads like I do. People should not be discriminated against because of their age |

another AC brilliant analogies
treat the Greens like a gum tree. there is a big crown on top, green and attractive with flowers, birds and bees. They are the attractive popular members of parliament. Then there is the hard core - when you get past the bark of the trunk and it is a spotted gum or turpentine, cut that off and you still have the stump and roots, that may even need a fire to regenerate the seeds inside. That is a almost total electoral wipe out but they will sprout again. And also the seeds the crown originally dropped or eaten by birds and dispersed with poo will resprout - isn't that marvelleous. And we know gums take over any country that has been deserated - like our environment is - so we have the Greens political party as well. Isn't that typical Byron Bay holistic New Age ganga mumbo jumbo - but dont you dare delete KB! |

I see Dennis has posted in the Detox thread. Usually this occurs at the request of Kevin, and comes after I have so thoroughly flogged Kevin in debate, that he must suffer the indignation.
Having Dennis provide some comic relief assists in healing Kevin's injured pride. Very well Kevin and Dennis. Please carry on.

Poor Kevin is still trying to put down the scissors but he keeps cutting himself in the process:

Don't fight it. I already posted the screen shot for all to see. Your denials that you made 11 straight posts is therefore futile and pointless.

I don't respond every time Bill makes a post. That's your job.

But I thought it could be viewed as being just to break up the normal run of poster/s on that thread?
But Bill did not have very nice things to say about you so you should tackle him head on - I would recommend even a shoulder charge. And Bill's post made the triflecta of the mates this thread is Christened after. What is the name of that club I used to refer to? |

In an idle moment I just had a look at the Toolbox, in particular the General Chess Discussion section. As a result, I can formulate a new definition of gross ignorance, namely, 144 posts on the Toolbox. This supplements Geoff Lawson's definition - 144 fast bowlers - which still holds good but is more suitable for the Cricket thread.
DJ AC Now Denis come clean, you were over here to check out my classics just as KB does even in the SErena Williams thread here - his sins find him out |
